Stream disturbance | Skulpturenausstellung JetztKunst08 – CH-Schüpfen BE , 2008

Fourteen rose-coloured poles follow the course of the “Chüelibach” stream in Schüpfen/BE – visually and statically. In a subtle manner, they hinder and interrupt the natural flow of water. The water is forced to give way to the resistance. As a result, the surface of the water changes constantly, forming new patterns which vary depending on the velocity and amount of water.
